The spatial experience for this gallery comprises a series of carefully articulated voids, both internal and external. Massings from different parts of the building were hollowed out and turned into green pockets. These massings were then patched onto the facade to form balconies and terraces. The green voids allows for the penetration of natural sunlight and ventilation, lightening up the interior spaces. They also create more visual connection between the different levels, bringing nature indoors. The glass façade and skylight are enclosed with louvers in a rhythmic arrangement to filter direct sunlight and cast beautiful linear shadows during the day.
